Chinyere Dazzles in Sweety My Love Movie

Multi talented Nollywood actress Chinyere Okparaji dazzles in new movie ‘Sweety My Love by Hub Entertainment. This multi talented Imo state born actress has proven that she can play any role no matter how challenging going by her performance in the movie Sweety My love. She played as a South African returnee looking for her father. She found him in Monkey village located in a slum. Her role as Sweetie Twala was very challenging because hse had to speak English with a Kwazulu mother tongue interference. Her English accent is heavily accentuated in the movie and it’s a shock to many who have seen the movie how she managed to mimic the accent even though she has never been to South Africa. Chinyere also Known as Chinny said she was determined to play the role and had to learn to that way by listening over and over again to Kwazulu women talking on you tube.
Apart from the heavy Kwazulu accentuation, she nailed the role. The Executive producer of the movie and MD of Hub Entertainment Mr Paul Aku said no one else could have played that role of Sweety better than Chinyere. He expressed his shock at her performance and said ‘I knew she could play the role but she nailed it better than I expected. She maintained the accent throughout the movie without talking normal for once even during rehearsals’. Paul Aku said that Chinyere Okparaji is a fast rising star to reckon with because she is a script writer and producer and that makes her interpret roles so well.
Foremost Nollywood Director Obi Emelonye commented on her script writing ability after reading ‘Mercedes onyebekee’ and said ‘Chinyere I am impressed by your line of thought and find your story interesting. One of the most intelligently articulated story summaries that I have come across in long time’.
Chinyere played alongside Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu and Collins Nche Muonagor in the movie which was released a month ago. Watch SWEETY MY LOVE movie below…
